Epsom Salt Bottles 4

I saw this idea about one year ago on Pinterest, so I can’t take credit for the idea.  It was fun to do something crafty to get me in the Christmas spirit!        epsom salt bottles final1

You will need the following:

Bottles, cleaned and stripped of the labels

Spray paint (I chose white)

Spray adhesive (I got mine at Hobby Lobby)

Epsom salts

Decorations (I used burlap, ribbon, bells, and small ornaments)

Clean bottles.  I soaked them in hot sudsy water and the labels came right off.

Spray paint.  It took me about three layers of paint.

Spray portion of bottle that you want the epsom salt on with spray adhesive.  Roll in salt and let dry.  It will feel tacky and not hold securely until it is fully dry.  Mine smelled like lavender, which was really nice.

Decorate!  I think this would be darling with different sizes of bottles.
