Garlic Smashed Potatoes 3

Seriously, this recipe is Yummy!  You can serve it with anything – beef, chicken, fish, and it will get eaten up!  The other thing I love about it — you don’t have to make gravy!  Yea!  Even my hubby, who is a gravy king, loves these potatoes.

Garlic Smashed Potatoes

Here are the ingredients:

4-5 potatoes, peeled and cubed

1-2 cloves garlic, peeled (this depends on size of the garlic and how much you love garlic flavor)

3 Tbsp. butter, softened

3 Tbsp. cream cheese, softened

1-2 Tbsp. milk, if desired

1/2 tsp. salt

freshly ground pepper

Boil potatoes and garlic together on stove until tender, about 25 to 30 minutes.  Drain.  Smash potatoes and garlic together with butter, cream cheese, milk, and seasonings.  I usually do it by hand with a good old potato masher.

Serve!  You can serve this as a side to any dish – see my Western Chicken, Dutch Oven Beef, or Sunday Roast.  Yum-alicious!

Happy Thursday!

Oh, my goodness, this looks divine! Garlic mashed potatoes are my favorite side dish to order when eating out. Why is it I never make them at home? Your recipe looks very easy – and delicious. A must to try! I found you at Blogelina. Hope to see you around this afternoon. 🙂
