Looking for a last minute, easy Father’s Day idea that won’t break the bank? Here is a special tie!!
I saw this idea on Pinterest from Little LDS Ideas and thought: “I can do that!!” They really are easy and fun! Dad might even like this more than a real tie. Is giving a man a tie kind of like giving a woman a blender? Just curious… 🙂
Here is what you need:
long, clear cellophane baggies
candy of your choice
small square of card stock or paper
You just fold in the corners of the baggie to make a tie shape.
Fill with candy. Close the top, I used the twist ties to close it. Glue/tape on the card stock tie. I choose pink card stock for my hubby as he has a great pink tie. One week at church he was told, quite strongly, that it wasn’t appropriate for church. I think he wears it more now!! LOL. What do you think? Is pink appropriate??
Add this cute printable:
One for daddy:
One for the special guy in your life:
One for grandpa:
Simply right click and save and print for your use!! They should download to about 3×3 inch sizes. I printed mine on 4×6 paper and trimmed. They turned out beautifully.
Happy Father’s Day!! What is your go-to Father’s Day gift?
