I am Mormon. The official name of our church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When I write about my faith online, I sometimes have to take a deep breath. You see, it is something so personal and sacred to me, yet it is also such a part of my life that I am bound to share some of my beliefs here on the blog.
I think you will find that we have more in common than you think. I am married to a wonderful husband, have two children, and believe in Christ. I believe in being kind, honest, and charitable, but acknowledge openly that I am imperfect and make mistakes daily. I am passionate about my family and work every day to show my love to them. I drive a car, eat chocolate, and go to work, like many of you.

They do an awesome job of explaining some of our beliefs and debunking a few myths about our church.
Twice a year, outside of our regular Sunday meetings, our church gathers together worldwide to listen to our church leaders talk and counsel. Last week, we had our general women’s meeting. All women age 8 and up were invited to listen to beautiful music and talks given by some of our church’s leaders.
Here were some of my favorite quotes and scriptures from that session:
For all that visit today, I raise my voice in saying: I believe in Christ. I know that He loves each one of us. We are children of a Heavenly Father who knows your name and my name. He knows of each of our hopes and dreams, worries and trials, passions and heartaches. He wants us to reach out to Him.
I hope you all have a very beautiful Sunday and a Happy Easter. What a beautiful season to celebrate Our Savior, Jesus Christ.
