So, this is how I use my leftover chili! We love Navajo tacos at my house. Even my little ones gobble it up!
Ingredients for Navajo Fry Bread:
1 Tbsp yeast
2 Tbsp sugar
1-2 Tbsp oil (start with one and add more if the bread seems dry)
1 1/2 cups warm water
3-3 1/2 cups flour (add more as needed)
1 tsp salt
Mix together in bread mixer (or by hand) and let raise for 1 1/2 hours or until at least double.
Roll out into individual scones and fry in oil until brown.
Top with chili, cheese, lettuce, olives, tomatoes, salsa, ranch, sour cream, etc. Yummy! Very filling and there will not be any leftovers!
