In an effort to magnify the creativity that is somewhere buried in me, I continued working on a few decorations for Valentine’s Day.
I found these frames on clearance. One at Hobby Lobby and the other at Michaels. I have had the black and red one sitting in a closet for over a year…
I decided they would be great together, but felt the black one needed a little…something. Again, I went to the red burlap.
I cut out five circles. Don’t worry about getting them exact, it doesn’t really matter. I eye-balled them. Then you place one circle down. Fold the other four circles twice: 1. in half 2. in half again. Glue them down in a circle, the four folded circles should make a circle. I used hot glue to secure them. I put a “bling-bling” in the middle to complete the flower.
I then printed some Valentine-y pictures I found on Pinterest and added some decorations from my closets. Can you tell I am loving the goblet and candle decorations (also seen here)!
The best part of this creation was when my little one came in, looked at the table and said, “Mommy, we have a Valentine karate girl!!!” I guess I can totally see that!
Happy crafting!
